Ashley Davidson trained at the Royal London Hospital and qualified as a nurse in 1987. She has worked in the field of Cardiology since qualifying, both in this country and in Australia. She has worked both in the NHS and private sectors. For the past 15 years she has managed all inpatient and outpatient cardiology services at Yeovil District Hospital in Somerset and is an Advanced Life Support instructor. She has been embedded in a Cardiac Rehabilitation team for 24 years and has been a non-medical prescriber for 14 years. She is now working as a Cardiology Nurse Consultant specialising in the medical management of angina.
